Renowned ADHD Expert Russell Barkley, Ph.D., To Lead Canton, Ohio: The ADHD Clinic at Child & Adolescent Service Center, with support from Mercy Medical Center and the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Canton, will offer a one-day professional workshop and a free community seminar on the topic of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Russell Barkley, Ph.D., one of the world's foremost ADHD authorities, will facilitate a free community seminar – part of Mercy's centennial celebration – on Tues., April 15 at 7 p.m. in the Mercy Hall auditorium. About Russell Barkley, Ph.D. The founder of neuropsychology services at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Barkley has also served as the director of psychology and professor of psychiatry and neurology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School for 17 years. While there, he established child and adult ADHD research clinics. He is currently a research professor in the department of psychiatry at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y.
