Mercy Partners With Area Band and Business To ‘Rock Out Breast Cancer’
Friq & Fraq to raffle one of their guitars to help raise funds
for the Mercy Breast Care Center


CANTON, OHIO – Mercy Medical Center, local rock band Friq & Fraq, and Hendrickson Trailer Suspension team up to “Rock Out Breast Cancer” through a breast cancer awareness program and raffle. A drawing will be held on May 7 for one of the group’s first guitars, and all proceeds will benefit the Mercy Breast Care Center Benevolence Fund.

The raffle will follow a breast cancer awareness program for Hendrickson employees. As part of Mercy Breast Care Center’s ongoing community cancer awareness initiatives, the event will feature informational booths and a panel discussion including Dina K. Rooney, M.D., medical oncologist and medical director of Mercy Breast Care Center, healthcare specialists and breast cancer survivors. Hendrickson employs band members Brett Kuhnash and Dennis Schweizer.

Raffle tickets may be purchased through May 6 at Mercy Boutique, the Hendrickson facility at 2070 Industrial Place SE, or at Friq & Fraq concerts. To contact the Boutique, call (330) 456-9960. Friq & Fraq was formed in 1991. the current lineup of Kuhnash, Schweizer and Ron Catlin have been together for eleven years, having performed all across northeast Ohio. Performances include venues such as HOF Festival events, New Years Eve celebrations, holiday bashes and numerous clubs.
